Our report documents are created using Microsoft Word. If the content seems to be corrupt, garbled or you can't open the document, don't panic. There are a few things you can do to troubleshoot the problem and save yourself some time.
- Re-download the product from your account - A partially downloaded file is often the problem.
- Make sure your version of Word (OpenOffice or whatever you are using to open doc files) is up to date and can open both .doc and docx.
- Re-save the document - Although this rarely happens, sometimes a document appears to have been saved in one format but was actually saved in another. (Hint: You can't save a document in .docx format and simply change the format by manually changing the extension name to doc.)
